Start small
Your first order can be a small one.
Everything here is custom, so try a short run first. See how it looks on the product, the truck or the wall. When it works, reorder bigger and the price per piece drops.
How screen printing works
Each color in your design gets its own screen. Ink gets pushed through the screen onto the shirt, one color at a time, then cured with heat so it holds up in the wash.
Because every color needs its own screen, setup is the same whether you print a few shirts or a few hundred. That's why the price per shirt drops as the order grows, and why screen printing is the go-to for bigger runs.
It also keeps your colors bright and solid. A one or two color logo is the sweet spot. Full color photos and lots of gradients are better done with DTF.
Getting the most out of a screen printed shirt
Fewer colors cost less. If your logo has six colors, a one or two color version often looks just as good on a shirt and saves money on every order.
Shirt color matters too. A light design on a dark shirt needs a white base layer under the ink, which adds a step. I'll flag that on your proof so there are no surprises.
Put your phone number or website on crew shirts. A shirt on a job site is a small billboard, and people should be able to find you from it.

Questions
Screen printing: common questions
How much do screen printed shirts cost?
Screen printed tees start at $14 each. The shirt, the number of colors, the number of print locations and the quantity set the final price. The price per shirt drops as quantity goes up.
What's the minimum for screen printing?
Screen printing has a minimum because of the setup for each color. Ask and I'll tell you the minimum for your job. For very small runs, DTF is often the better fit.
Does the number of colors change the price?
Yes. Each color needs its own screen, so more colors cost more. A one or two color version of your logo usually saves money.
Will the print crack or fade?
A properly cured screen print holds up to a lot of washing. Wash inside out in cold water and skip high heat in the dryer to keep it looking new longer.
Can you print on hoodies and dark shirts?
Yes. Dark shirts get a white base layer under the ink so the colors stay bright. You see it on the proof first.
