Start small
Your first order can be a small one.
Everything here is custom, so try a short run first. See how it looks on the product, the truck or the wall. When it works, reorder bigger and the price per piece drops.
Picking a poster size
11 x 17, 18 x 24 and 24 x 36 are the common poster sizes, and most frames and holders are made for them. Small posters work on a counter or a bulletin board. Big ones are for windows, walls and anything people read from across the room.
Measure the spot before you order. A poster that fills the window or the frame looks planned. One that floats in the middle looks like an afterthought.
Any size is fine. If your spot is odd, send me the measurements and I'll set up the file to fit.
Paper or mounted?
Paper posters cost less and are easy to hang with tape, tacks or a frame. They're the pick for event posters you'll put up all over town.
Mounted posters are printed and fixed to foam board. They stay flat, stand on an easel and look finished in a lobby or at a check-in table.
Posters are made for inside. For a sign outside, look at a vinyl banner or a coroplast yard sign. Both handle rain.
Your file decides how it looks
A logo or a photo that looks fine on your phone can turn blurry at 24 x 36. Big prints need big files.
Send whatever you have. I'll check it before you approve the proof and tell you if it will hold up at the size you want. If it won't, I'll tell you what to send instead, or rebuild the logo so it prints clean.
You see a proof before anything prints, so there are no surprises when the poster comes off the printer.

Questions
Posters: common questions
What sizes do posters come in?
11 x 17, 18 x 24 and 24 x 36 are the most common, and frames are easy to find for them. Custom sizes are fine too.
How much does poster printing cost?
It depends on the size, the paper, the quantity and whether it's mounted. Tell me what you need and I'll quote it within 24 hours.
Can posters go outside?
Paper posters are made for inside or behind glass. For outside, a vinyl banner or a coroplast sign holds up to the weather.
Can you mount a poster on foam board?
Yes. Mounted posters stay flat and stand on an easel, which works well in lobbies and at events.
Will my logo look good printed big?
Send the file and I'll check it before the proof. If it's too small for the size you want, I'll tell you and help fix it.
